Is it possible to customize the print on fleece fabric?

Basically I want to make a fleece tie blanket for someone but really do not want to use the kittens and car fabric they have for little kids…I think it would be sick to have thier favorite lyrics and such on the fabric but not embroidered is it even possible?? thanks

Get a low-loft fleece in a solid and screen print whatever you want on it or on another fabric (or use iron-ons created on an inkjet printer) to applique onto the fleece.
